CareConnect Consulting was founded in 2023 with one focus in mind: to make every patient’s experience, even under difficult circumstances, a pleasant and professional one.
Too often, medical practices lose sight of the human element. At CareConnect, we believe that true success begins when practices return to being patient-centric, then employee-centric, and finally powered by technology.
That’s exactly what we do. We help surgical practices strengthen their two greatest assets: their people and their technology, in that order.
Through our 5-step framework, The CareConnect Compass, we guide doctors, executives, and practice owners through a people-first process that builds stronger teams, aligns the right tools, and drives measurable results.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with hundreds of medical professionals and practices: training teams, refining workflows, and implementing technology solutions that lead to lasting growth.
The results?
Stronger teams. Smarter systems. Happier patients.
For more than a decade, Sarah has partnered with business owners and practitioners to help them do what they went to medical school to do: help patients.
Her story began in 2011 while putting herself through the University of Tennessee. Working full time on the night shift at an IT help desk, she learned three lessons that still shape her leadership today:
After earning her degree in Communication Studies (go Vols!) with minors in Technical Communication and Information Sciences, Sarah combined her two passions, people and technology, into a career focused on improving how organizations operate.
She went on to lead large contact center teams before moving into healthcare operations, helping medical practices implement and manage complex technology systems. But one thing became clear: technology can’t fix a people problem.
That realization sparked CareConnect Consulting. Sarah built the company on one belief: success starts with people, not technology. When teams are equipped, empowered, and aligned, the tools finally work as they should.
Today, Sarah partners with medical practices nationwide to bring that vision to life — strengthening teams, optimizing systems, and helping businesses grow with purpose.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her with her husband John, their three children, and two dogs; probably traveling, cooking, or cheering on Tennessee football!
